Lee Croxton

3rd Degree Black Belt

He started his martial arts journey during the 80’s in a military town where soldiers brought the arts back from overseas. (Yin and yang kung fu, taekwondo, kick boxing). Lee began a career in LE and focused on a pragmatic approach to martial arts. He discovered Okinawan karate and kobudo (Shorin-ryu Shorinkan). After becoming a LE defensive tactics instructor, he had plenty of practice/instruction with high level practitioners of many styles. When he discovered Georgia Defense Acadmey (formerly LGK) teaching Matubayashi-ryu Karate and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, he was able to put everything together into a very pragmatic system for his work life then test it in the real world via night shift assignment in midtown and downtown Atlanta. Lee has retired from LE and enjoys continuing his martial arts journey and passing on his exeperience and knowledge to new students.
